How long will it take to create my account?

Just click on the "Register here" link at https://fm.digital-farming.com/ca/en_ca After entering your personal and farm information, your account will be created instantly after you have verified your username / email address.

Is there a charge to use Zone Spray?

Zone Spray is priced at CAD 1.50/acre. You will be asked to enter your credit card information before you are able to download the Zone Spray map. We will charge your credit card at the end of the spray season for the Zone Spray acres you have purchased.

Depending on when you sign up during the season or how you heard about Zone Spray this season, you may also qualify for one of our promotional programs giving you no charge acres to use Zone Spray on your farm. To qualify for the no charge acres, you will still need to provide us with your credit card information before downloading the Zone Spray map. We will then calculate and take into account your no charge acres when we process the invoice after you have downloaded the Zone Spray map.

What is the Shop??

We use a reputable online payment processor to accept your credit card information and process your billing at the end of the spray season. You are required to go to the shop and enter your credit card to unlock the Zone Spray license for your Farm. This needs to be done for each Farm you have setup in Field Manager if you are working with multiple farms.

Access the Shop by clicking on My Farm at the top right corner, then click Farm settings. If you received a Voucher Code please enter it before entering your credit card information. You can view your order history and edit your billing details in the Shop.

Can I assign my farm directly to someone else to access, such as my agronomist, retail, or other farm member?

Yes. You can assign to another person as long as they have a Field Manager account with us. They can sign-up at https://fm.digital-farming.com/ca/en_ca for account creation. Once they have an account, you can assign your farm to them directly by using the "Invite collaborators" function under My Farm / Farm settings in the upper right corner of the screen. Enter the email address your collaborator uses to sign in to Field Manager.

What do the different colors in the Zone Spray map represent?

The different colors represent the different zones you have in your field from Zone 1 to Zone 7.

Zone 1 is parts of your field with the least biomass which are typically lower yielding and less susceptible to disease. Zone 7 are the parts of your field with the highest biomass which are typically higher yielding, and also more at risk for disease occurrence.

How were the zones generated in my Zone Spray map?

We have developed the Zone Spray zoning algorithm based on our experience with canola and sclerotinia management. Through an in-season satellite image program and proprietary algorithms, we analyze the grower’s canola fields and identify the high yield and high disease risk areas.

How many zones should I consider for my in-field fungicide application?

Zone Spray splits your field into 7 management zones and lets you choose the zones you want to spray.

There is not a one-size-fits-all approach here. With your personalized Zone Spray map, you can get the right product applied on the right acres of the right fields for optimized efficiency and tailored protection.

How do you ensure that the zones in the Zone Spray map accurately reflect my field?

The algorithm we use to analyze and create your Zones has been tested for multiple seasons with growers across multiple field growing conditions. Our test results showed that zones in our Zone Spray map were consistent and accurate with the zones the farmers and agronomists saw in their fields during application.

Can I use the Zone Spray map for other crops?

The science behind Zone Spray has been developed and tested for Canola and sclerotinia control. The system is optimized for canola and sclerotinia disease control products. At this time other crops and products are not optimized for the Field Manager Zone Spray system.

Can I work on multiple prescription files at one time (batch process)?

Yes. Click on the "batch process" icon (3 horizontal bars with 3 dots).

You can then select the checkboxes for multiple fields you want to work on simultaneously.

Can I print a Field Report for the sprayer operator?

Yes. After creating a Task for the field you can download a Field Report in PDF format to print or email. It will tell you how much water and product is needed to complete the field. You can also batch process the Field Report for multiple fields to generate a single report.
