For which crops is FIELD MANAGER available?

The "Status" and "Spray Timer" features are available for Winter Wheat, Winter Barley and Oil Seed Rape. "Zone Spray" is available for the T2 fungicide application in Winter Wheat.

How do you calculate the right timing for my crop protection applications?

We gather data from publicly available sources as well as partners who specialize in areas such as crop nutrition, satellite imaging, and soil- as well as weather-related modeling. This data is complemented by efficacy insights we have gained over the years on crop protection products and field information such as variety or pre-crop, which you need to provide. We continually ensure that all information in the system is up-to-date.

Do I have to update the BBCH status of my crops in FIELD MANAGER?

No, the field specific growth stage of your crops is calculated automatically by FIELD MANAGER. If you see differences between FIELD MANAGER and the situation on your fields, you can adjust the growth stage manually to optimize the recommendations.

What do the different field colors and spray symbols stand for?

How can I work on multiple fields at the same time?

In some parts of the application it is possible to work with multiple fields at a time. This can be a great time saver. Look for the 'Batch icon'…once activated you can click check boxes next to your fields. Click multiple fields to see aggregated information and actions that apply to all fields in your selection.

What is "Zone Spray"?

As you may know, fields are rather heterogeneous. The FIELD MANAGER takes that into account by frequently analyzing the current vegetation for different zones in the field. This information helps your sprayer to apply fungicides according to the hyperlocal vegetation density. This feature is available for the T2 fungicide application in Winter Wheat. We are working on more field-zone-specific solutions.

Are my terminal and my sprayer ready for ‘Zone Spray’ (variable applications)?

Working with variable rate application (VRA) maps puts requirements on your equipment. With our interactive test you can find out if your setup is ready to work with VRA maps.

Can I use FIELD MANAGER even if my terminal and sprayer don’t support variable application?

Yes, "Status" and "Spray Timer" are independent from your machinery.

How can I get a field zone-specific application map?

It's easier than it sounds. The FIELD MANAGER automatically creates zone-specific maps for the T2 fungicide application in each winter wheat field. All you need to do is log in, choose ‘Tasks’ in the menu and select the view to show all tasks and download the map.

What web browsers are supported by FIELD MANAGER?

FIELD MANAGER is always optimized for the two most recent versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome.

I was notified about an update. How can I install it?

Don’t worry! The system automatically installs updates by itself. If you look into the details of the notification, you’ll see exactly what has changed since the last update.

How will you protect my data?

I am not using a farm management system from which I can download my fields in "shape" or "ISO-XML" format. Do I need to draw my field manually?
